Hi, I’m Charlotte, founder of Cloth & Clay.
I create sustainable homeware with a quiet sense of luxury - thoughtfully designed pieces in muted tones and high quality materials to elevate everyday living. From kitchen and dining essentials to timeless decorative pieces, each item is made to be functional, versatile and easy to combine, helping you curate beautiful tablescapes and inviting spaces that bring people together.
Having trained and worked as a costume maker in London’s West End, I pivoted to set up my small business in 2020. Around the same time, I began working with clay, discovering the quiet, grounding nature of creating with organic materials at home. Through taking Cloth & Clay to craft markets, and later joining a shared studio space, I found a strong sense of connection within the maker community. Through my pieces, I hope to share that same feeling with my customers, creating spaces that feel warm, calm, and thoughtfully lived in.
